About Me
As head of Latham & Watkins’ Singapore law practice, I advise clients globally on complex cross-border transactions with a Singapore nexus.
With over 25 years of cross-discipline expertise, I guide financial institutions and companies on corporate and finance transactions, compliance, and governance matters. My areas of focus include public and private M&A, private equity, emerging companies, fintech, financial regulatory issues, investment funds, and ESG matters. I approach each transaction with commercial pragmatism and sensitivity, delivering bespoke solutions that align with client objectives.
I am particularly recognized for my leadership in ESG initiatives, serving as Asia Chair of the ESG Practice Working Committee. My work in this area involves advising clients on integrating ESG considerations into their business strategies and transactions, ensuring they meet evolving regulatory standards and stakeholder expectations.
My extensive experience in Singapore’s regulatory landscape allows me to navigate the unique challenges of transactions in the region. I have advised on significant venture capital investments, including those in AI, robotics, fintech, and biotechnology sectors, reflecting my commitment to supporting emerging companies.
Outside of the office, I enjoy playing the piano (with no degree of great proficiency), holding dinner parties and blind wine tastings, perfecting my baking, planning travel destinations with my grown-up children and seeking out new learning opportunities.
