An authority on payments and consumer financial services compliance, I regularly guide clients on transactions involving payment systems participants, including large merchants and financial technology companies, with respect to payment acceptance, payment issuance, co-brand agreements, payment card industry data security issues, and payment regulatory matters.
My deep experience also includes advising corporate and private equity clients within the context of mergers and acquisitions and other fintech investments.
I frequently speak at industry events and write on the evolving regulatory and compliance issues relating to payments and other e-commerce matters.
I am active in the community and regulatory volunteer with Merchant Acquirers’ Committee (MAC), a nonprofit trade association in the payment processing ecosystem. I also hold a leadership position within MAC’s Government Relations Strategic Insights Group.
