As a partner in Latham’s Emerging Companies & Growth Practice, I advise European and international clients on transactional matters in the venture capital and growth equity market, with a strong focus on fintech, digital platforms, and other innovation driven businesses.
Over time, I have shifted much of my time from traditional M&A and financial regulatory work to the intersection of technology, financial services, and corporate law, allowing me to combine my interest in regulation with my enthusiasm for transactions and entrepreneurial growth. Having lived and studied and being licensed in both Europe and the US, I love helping clients bridge the cultural gap on cross-Atlantic investments and exits.
I am particularly experienced in guiding fintech and emerging and growth companies through licensing, supervisory, and compliance challenges, while supporting their broader commercial and strategic objectives, and count myself lucky to have been involved, investor or company side, with some of the most prominent German and European fintechs.
Outside the office, I value time with my family and spending time at the Baltic Sea (taking a dip any time of year). Staying curious about the ideas and technologies shaping the next generation of financial services comes naturally to me with my kids upgrading me on every new technology available.
