I advise startups on both legal and business issues.
I am a partner in Latham’s Emerging Companies & Growth Practice, focusing on counseling tech and life sciences startups at all stages of their lifecycle and eventually through an exit via an IPO or M&A transaction. Being part of the Emerging Companies & Growth Practice allows me the opportunity to work with the brightest minds on important issues that often extend beyond the purely legal. I represent clients working on cutting-edge solutions in artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, encryption, adtech, edtech, online consumer markets, robotics, cloud services, medical devices, and other life sciences. My recent clients have included Care.com (acquired by IAC), Keybase (acquired by Zoom), LogMeIn, ASAPP, Pison, Unlearn.ai, RapidDeploy, VillageMD, and Portal Instruments. The clients I work with value my tireless advocacy for founders and my commercial and effective advice to help them navigate through all manner of issues and achieve their goals.
Outside of the office, I am typically spending time with my wife and young children, often going for a hike, or cheering on my local sports teams.
